Continuous use: To cancel the auto switch-off, press this
button (approx. 2 s) with the switch in the OFF position.
Re-selecting the off position will re-engage the auto
switch-off.
NB: The RANGE symbol is displayed as well as HOLD when
the HOLD function is activated.
MIN - MAX
Displays successive min. or max. values. Minimum
acquisition time : 500 ms.
MAX → MIN → MIN / MAX flashes
Hold down the button to exit MIN / MAX mode.
NB: Press the HOLD button in order to record the min. or
max. value before disconnecting the device.
Whilst MAX/MIN flashes with the HOLD function selected,
the measured value is not stored in memory.
If the MIN/MAX is first selected before carrying out
the voltage measurement, the first range selected is
400 mV (default selection in A
voltage is > 400 mV, the range is limited to 400 mV
which prevents measurement. This is also the case for
the 400 µA current measurement range (default
selection in µA AC/DC) and the 4000 µA range.
°C / °F To go from °C to °F and vice-versa, when using
the thermometer function
Turns display lighting on or off.
NB : Lighting turns off automatically after 1 min.
