6. Open external disconnectors (DC side, AC side including auxiliary
power supply) and secure against reactivation.
7. Ensure that the device is de-energised.
Risk of fatal injury due to residual voltages!
Residual voltages inside the device can result in fatal surges. Capacitors
may be charged even after the device is disconnected.
When central inverters are disconnected via the On/Off switch, voltage is
still present at the AC and DC connections and in the internal control. The
On/Off switch is not a DC disconnector.
Open all external disconnectors and secure them against being
|
switched back on.
Open internal circuit breakers.
|
After disconnecting the device, always wait for a period of 15 minutes
|
before touching.
Check that the device is deenergised using a suitable measuring
|
instrument, in accordance with applicable guidelines.
All measuring devices and cables used must be approved for at least
|
protection class CAT II 1000 V or CAT III 600 V (in accordance with IEC
EN 61010-1).
8. Open internal circuit breakers.
9. Carry out a visual inspection.
10. Record the actual condition
(loose, faulty parts, surge voltage protection, etc.).
11. Open the control cabinet.
12. Record the actual condition.
13. Close and lock the control cabinet and front door.
The fault has been recorded.

Waiting time

When analysing a fault, note the switch-on delay of the central inverter.
A waiting time of a few minutes is observed when switching on after grid
malfunctions. The exact time depends on the standard. If the device is
switched off due to insufficient input power and the solar generator
voltage then rises back above the switch-on threshold, the switch-on
delay will be about ten minutes.
