(1) CAN In
Connection from upstream inverter in a photovoltaic system,
monitoring unit or GridControl of the manufacturer.
(2) CAN Out
Connection from downstream inverter in a photovoltaic system or
terminating resistor. Each CAN bus must be terminated with a
terminating resistor (R = 120 Ω) .
(3) Terminating resistor (R = 120 Ω)
A terminating resistor is included in the scope of delivery of the
Monitoring Display and of the signal converter GridControl or can be
purchased from the manufacturer.
(4) Monitoring Display of the manufacturer
The CAN interface is on the underside of the control cabinet.
USB
The manufacturer continuously improves the software of the display. You
can perform a firmware update via the USB interface. You can find the
latest firmware version in the download area of the manufacturer's home
page. If you have any questions contact the manufacturer (contact details
on the back of the manual).
Storage medium requirements (USB stick)
Sufficient free memory space (size of firmware approx. 50 MB).

FAT32 formatted.

Only one partition available.

Not write-protected.

Please note:
Only use the USB interface if the central inverter is out of operation.
|
During the software update, the central inverter must be disconnected
|
on the DC and AC side. The auxiliary power supply must be switched
on.
A reboot after a firmware update can take up to 15 minutes.
|
The USB interface is on the inside of the cabinet door.
