4.4 RECIRCULATION SLOTTED HOLES
ADJUSTMENT
To adjust the fume recirculation slot, it is necessary to:
Loosen the screws (2, fig. 12) and slightly turn the flame
tube (1) until finding the position on the adjustment notch
(3) in accordance with the indications given in the table on
page 8.
Attention: the adjustment notch (3) is an indication.
In good flame stability conditions, open the slots (4) wider
to reduce NOx further.4 In unstable conditions, slowly
close the slots.
When you have made the adjustment, make sure the
flame tube (1) is aligned on the regulation notch (3).
Then tighten up the screws (2).
4.5 AIR REGULATION,
Depending on burner output, regulate air by rotating the
feeder (1) and then the knob (3).
FEEDER ADJUSTMENT (1)
Remove the cover (4) and loosen the three screws (2).
Rotate the feeder (1) and position it according to the val-
ues given in the table on page 8.
Tighten the three screws (2) with a torque no higher than
0.8 Nm.
Attention
It is important to ensure the feeder is correctly fixed by the
screws, to avoid the setting changing when the burner is
working.
KNOB ADJUSTMENT (3)
Turn the knob (3). Clockwise reduces the airflow section
values: anticlockwise does the opposite.
and increases CO
2
The regulations given in the table on page 8 are purely indicative.
Each system has working conditions that cannot be forecast beforehand: effective nozzle capacity, pressure
or depression in the combustion chamber, excess air, etc.
All these conditions can require different air regulation.
WARNING
!
THE AIR INLET MUST NOT BE BLOCKED IN THE KNOB AREA (3 fig. 13) OR THE ASPIRATION
GRID AREA (10, fig. 1 page 1), EXCEPT BY THE COVER.
YOU MUST NOT PROBE INSIDE THE KNOB INTAKE OPENING (3 fig. 13) WITH YOUR FINGERS OR
ANY SORT OF TOOL.
It is important to take account of the fact that the air output of the fan differs according to whether
!
the burner has its cover fitted or not.
Therefore we recommend to proceed as follows:
Check the feeder setting position.
Turn the knob as given in the table.
Replace the cover and tighten the screw.
Check the smoke number device and CO
If it's necessary to correct the regulations, remove the cover and adjust as required.
Replace the cover and check the smoke number device and CO
