– Do not pull on the connection cable, but
rather on the plug, in order to disconnect
the appliance.
– Repairs, exchange of replacement parts
and manipulations on the appliance must
be carried out by a trained fitter/customer
service only.
– Make worn-out appliances unusable
immediately. Then dispose of the appli-
ance properly.
– Before placing into operation, make cer-
tain that the filters are in the proper posi-
tion.
– Observe the filter change indicator, check
all filters, and clean or exchange in accor-
dance with the operating instructions.
– Check all the filters and clean or replace them
as set out in the operating manual.
– Watch the filter change indicator.
– If the filter change indicator light is lit brightly
and uniformly when the nozzle has been
raised off the carpet and the suction power is
set to maximum the paper filter must be
changed even if it is not full. In this case the
type of material in the filter necessitates its
replacement.
Before changing the filter make sure that the
nozzle, tube and hose are not blocked.
– Only use dry original filters or replacement
filters which bear the quality stamp.
– Use only original or special accessories.
– Do not vacuum without paper filter/dust bag.
– Do not vacuum up any sharp-edged, hot
or glowing substances. Do not vacuum up
any moist or liquid substances. Do not
vacuum up any highly flammable or explo-
sive substances or gases.
– When switched on, do not bring nozzles
and tubes near your head – danger to eyes
and ears.
– Before cleaning or maintenance, always
switch off appliance and pull out the mains
plug.
– Clean appliance only with dry or moist cloth.
Never immerse into water.
– Do not use the connection cable for carry-
ing or pull it over sharp edges, or crush it
under doors or otherwise clamp it.
– Be careful when you vacuum on stairs.
– When not vacuuming, switch off appliance.
Do not expose appliance to weather
influences, moisture or heat sources.
– When taking brief vacuuming pauses, you can
use the parking aid on the back of the
appliance. Push the plastic ribs of the nozzle
supports into the recess on the back of the
appliance.
– After you have finished vacuuming, pull
out the mains plug.
– This product is not intended for use by young
children or infirm persons.
Please note!
If the fuse should ever blow when you switch
on the appliance, this may be owed to the
fact that other high-load electric appliances
are connected to the same circuit simultane-
ously.
You can avoid blown fuses by setting the
appliance to the minimum power level before
you switch on and not selecting a higher
power level until the appliance is running.
