TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem
Engine is running,
but no
AC output is available.
Cause
I.
Generator circuit breaker is open.

Fault in generator.

Poor wiring connections or defective
transfer switch.

Circuit breaker open or defective.

Engine runs good at no-

Short circuit in a connected load.

Correction
I.
Reset circuit breaker.

Contact Briggs& Stratton service
facility.

Check and repair.

Reset or replace circuit breaker.
Disconnect shorted electrical load.
See "Essential Circuits" on page 7.
Contact Briggs& Stratton service
facility.
Install (new) 15 Amp fuse.
Clean or replace air cleaner.
Open fuel valve(s); check propane tank.
Connect wire to spark plug.

Replace spark plug.

Replace battery.

Check fuel valves, fill propane tank.

Count blinks and refer to "Fault
Detection System" on page 16.

Remove 15A fuse from generator
control panel, wait 30 seconds and
replace fuse.
