TrANsPorT, sTorAgE ANd hANdLINg

The basic wheel washer packaging consists of 1 package (a carton package on a pallet) containing:
- the wheel washer;
- 1 granulate collection basket (placed inside the washing chamber);
- 15 Kg (33 lbs) of plastic granules (placed inside the washing tank inspection lid);
- 1 drain pipe Ø50 pre-assembled on threaded fi tting complete with a thread seal tape (Tefl on tape);
- 1 blowing gun (placed inside the washing tank inspection lid);
- 1 segregation bulkhead (see paragraph 2.2).

Before installation, the machine must be transported inside its original packing, making sure the product is maintained in the position indicated on
the outer packing. The machine can be moved by placing the packages on a wheeled trolley or inserting the forks of a fork lift in the relative ope-
nings in the pallet (Fig.5).
CAUTION
do not stack more than two packs together, as this may result in damage.

Storage environment conditions:
- Relative humidity ranging from 20% to 95% without condensation;

WARNING
Carry out the unpacking, assembly and installation operations indicated below with great care. Non-compliance with these recommenda-
tions may result in damage to the machine and may jeopardize the operator's safety.
Remove the original packing materials after positioning them as indicated on the packaging and keep them intact so that the machine can be safely
shipped at a later date if necessary.
After installation, the machine can be moved by inserting the forks of a lift truck under the machine so that the centre of the forks correspond ap-
proximately to the centre line of the body (Fig.6). The machine is equipped in fact with handling cross bars positioned at the bottom of the washing
tank for an easy shifting inside the working area.
