the door remains on the outside with respect to its upright (fig.
26, detail 1), and that the lip of the gasket comes perfectly up
against the shower column along its entire length (fig. 26, de-
tail 2).
Using a pencil, mark the position of the compensator on the
wall along its full length (fig. 25).
Remove the top cover, the horizontal cross bar and the door.
Slide the compensator away from the door and reposition it a-
gainst the line traced previously on the wall (fig. 27).
Mark the 5 fixing points coinciding with the holes in the "wing"
of the compensator, move the compensator away and drill ho-
les in the wall with a diam. 6 mm drill bit, then insert screw an-
chors (fig. 27). Remove any dust or grit produced while making
the holes.
Silicone the compensator along its entire length on the side co-
ming up against the wall and on the bottom resting on the bath.
Then reposition it against the wall, making sure that it coincides
perfectly with the line you have traced and, while keeping it
pressed against the bath, fix it in place with 5 stainless steel
countersunk flat head screws diam. 3.9x32 complete with wa-
shers (fig. 27).
After applying silicone to the area where the lower cam comes
to rest and to the corresponding hole in the rim of the bath, re-
assemble the door on the bath, sliding it into the compensator
(figs. 27-31).
Repeat steps 1), 2) and 3) as above.
N.B.: the slots in the horizontal cross bar enable you to adjust
the upper part of the curved glass panel and column assembly
so as to ensure perpendicularity (fig. 25, detail 2). To secure the
structure stably and keep the column perfectly perpendicular,
there is a second stainless steel screw, (*), cheese head diam.
3.9x19 and washer (fig. 28).
Attach the glass door upright profile to the compensator by
means of a stainless steel diam. 3.5x13 cheese head screw, u-
sing the hole already drilled in the profile and the upper slot in
the compensator (fig. 28, detail 1). The slot makes it possible to
correct small errors in door positioning.
Drill a hole in the glass door upright profile (with a diam. 3 mm
drill bit) opposite the 5 holes in the compensator (fig. 28, de-
tail 2). WARNING!: Do not drill holes opposite the lower slot.
Attach the door to the compensator by means of 5 stainless
steel cheese head screws diam. 3.5x13, inserting the 5 stain-
less steel washers; then fit the clip-on cover strip. (fig. 28, de-
tail 3).
FIXING THE HANDLE AND CHECKING THE ASSEMBLY
Fix the bath permanently to the floor.
Silicone the inside of the shower column so as to create a wa-
tertight barrier over the holes for the passage of the flexible
hoses (fig. 29).
Install the accessories on the bath and the flexible hose and
shower head on the column for the shower area (the small fil-
ter must be inserted between the flexible hose and the shower
head).
Connect the flexible hoses to the hot and cold water delivery
connectors and connect the drain to the main drainpipe, inser-
ting a suitable siphon (figs. 2-3, Twin Tower and Twin Tower
Corner; figs. 6-7 Aulica Twin; figs. 10-11, Aulica Compact Twin);
check the shower functions (shower head and vertical massa-
ge, fig. 32), making sure that they work properly and are pro-
perly sealed.
Screw the handle fixing pins (contained in the bag of nuts and
screws) onto the brackets provided (fig. 29) and, by means of a
turning action, assemble the cover panel on the column (it sna-
ps into place); attach this permanently to the bath with a stain-
less steel cheese head screw diam. 3.9x19 and washer (fig. 30,
detail 1).
Fix the top lid to the cover panel with 2 stainless steel cheese
head screws diam. 3.9x19 (fig. 30, detail 2).
Fix the column permanently to the bath by inserting the fourth
M4 stainless steel nut and washer (see "Installing the shower co-
lumn" fig. 17, detail 3).
Fit the handle (with the logo facing upwards) and attach it with
the two pre-assembled socket-head screws (fig. 30, detail 3).
For the whirlpool version, connect the electric junction box to the
building's mains power supply and earthing system.
Test the differential circuit-breaker for the bath and run a whirl-
pool cycle, checking that there are no leaks anywhere, especially
as concerns the water piping and drain.
Accurately silicone along the entire rim of the bath where it re-
sts against the wall and also in any gaps that remain between
the glass panel compensators and the rim of the bath or the wall
(fig. 31).
It is advisable to fit the Jacuzzi
resting against the wall, which is specifically designed to beco-
me anchored to the silicone, combining the guarantee of a per-
fect seal with a handsome appearance.

INSTALLING THE PANELS

Refer to the instructions contained in the "Installation hand-
book", supplied together with the bath, bearing in mind that the-
re are two metal supports under the rim of the bath for attaching
the front panel, with two springs at the corners.
In "Aulica Twin" and "Aulica Compact Twin" models, these springs
are both asymmetrical and their longer side must be facing
towards the front of the bath.
In "Twin Tower" and "Twin Tower Corner" models, only one of the
two springs is asymmetrical; this spring must be placed on the
support in the shower area, again with the longer side facing the
front of the bath.
Refer to figs. 13-14 and the installation manual for the height
for positioning of the plastic supports (Twin Tower/Twin Tower
Corner) and of the brackets (Aulica Twin/Aulica Compact Twin).
