If there is any danger to personnel or the machine
during the pressing process, press the EMERGENCY
STOP button immediately and release the ON
switch. The valve will open and the piston will

LED
The red LED can indicate the following:
Flashes red: Battery is flat. The current press
process will be ended automatically. The ON
button will then be disabled and a new cycle can
only be started once the battery has been charged.
Lights up red: After 20.000 press cycles the LED
lights up red after each moulding cycle to indicate
that the next inspection is due. An internal counter
keeps a record of the number of pressing since
leaving the factory.
The white LED's lights up by starting the press cycle
(up to 30 sec. after end of the press cycle).
To insert the press jaw
Remove battery!
1
Open the bolt.
2
Insert the appropriate press jaw for the job in

After changing the press jaw it is essential to
ensure that, once engaged, the crimping jaw
matches the profile being moulded and the
nominal width of the fitting being moulded. A
visual inspection must be carried out in order to
determine that the press jaw is fully closed at the
end of the press cycle.

Operation
Use only system-compatible press fittings and press
jaws designed for them. The nominal size of the
press jaw must be identical with the nominal size

Battery/Charger
Mains connection:
Connect only to single-phase a.c. current and only
to the system voltage indicated on the rating plate.
It is also possible to connect to sockets without an
earthing contact as the design conforms to safety
class II.
Charging the battery:
ATTENTION! Overvoltage destroys the
batteries and the charger. Observe
correct mains voltage.
D
The lithium-ion battery can be charged at every
charging level and charging can be interrupted at
any time without damaging the battery (no
memory effect).
1
Insert mains plug of the battery charger into a
mains power socket.
Red and green LEDs are lit.
