Leave the contaminated area immediately if:

any part of the system becomes damaged
◦
airfl ow into the Visor decreases or stops
◦
breathing becomes diffi cult
◦
dizziness or other distress occurs
◦
you taste or smell contaminants or an irritation occurs

Do not use oxygen or oxygen enriched air in the respiratory system.
•
Do not use in fl ammable or explosive environments
•
Take care to prevent the breathing tube from becoming looped around
protruding objects.
•
Facial hair under the face seal reduces respiratory protection.
•
Spectacles interfering with the face seal may reduce respiratory
protection.
•
High winds above 2m/s, or very high work rates with peak inhalation
fl ows (where the pressure within the Visor becomes negative) can reduce
protection.
•
Materials which may come into contact with the wearer's skin are not
known to cause allergic reactions to the majority of individuals. The face
seal in this product contains components made from natural rubber latex
which may cause allergic reaction.
•
Wearers of ophthalmic spectacles should be aware that in the case of
severe impact hazards the deformation of the Visor might cause the
inside of the Visor to come into contact with the spectacles creating a
hazard for the wearer.
•
The Visor is heat resistant and approved against standard requirements
for fl ammability but can catch fi re or melt in contact with open fl ame or
very hot surfaces. Keep the Visor clean to minimise this risk.
•
If using Supplied Air system, ensure that:

The source of the air supply is known;
◦
The purity of the air supply is known;
◦
The air supply is of a breathable quality, to EN12021
