l l i i s s a a system introduction
An alerting system requires at least
one transmitter and a receiver. The
transmitter captures sound signals
and transforms them into digital sig-
nals that are passed to a receiver by
the existing mains electricity supply.
The receiver then transforms these
digital signals into light signals.

Channel selection

A digital transmission system ensures
the correct recognition of each of the
digital signals from each transmitter.
The system has 10 different selec-
table channels, 0-9.
The factory setting for all lisa devices
is channel 0. Only where more than
one installation is required in the
same building will it be necessary to
select a different channel for each
system.

switch on the underside of the trans-
mitter to the required channel number

lisa system to be tested without any
connecting cables.
Duration of flashing signals
The factory setting for the duration of
the flash is 28 seconds for all lisa
receivers. However, you can reduce
this to 8 seconds if you wish. To chan-
ge the flash duration for a particular
transmitter, remove the transmitter
from the mains socket and, while
pressing in the personal call button,
plug the transmitter back into the sok-
ket. To switch back to 28 seconds
remove the transmitter from the sok-
ket and plug back in again this time
without pressing the personal call
button.
Doorbell connection
Plug the transmitter into a convenient
mains socket. Plug the doorbell
microphone lead into the respective
