12.1

Integrated hot gas defrosting

NOTE
z During the compressor switch-off phase the evaporator blowers are
stopped by the target temperature.
z Evaporator defrosting takes place automatically This procedure takes place
after each full hour of operation of the system and is indicated in the dis-
play with the relevant symbol.
z When the defrosting procedure is complete, the cooling system switches
on automatically and starts cooling again.
z The defrosting process (manual and automatic) is time-limited and also
depends on the temperature.
z The automatic defrosting process is halted if the system is switched off.
When switched on again, the system's internal time mode resets and starts
to count again.
z The limiting temperatures for the defrosting procedure or the blower stop
are measured from the evaporator sensor

CAUTION!
Deviations from the values for loading area temperature control stated in the
parameter lists can result in damage to the load and the cooling system.

NOTE
z For chilled goods use it is possible to have a constant loading area tem-
perature.
z The system is in cooling mode for temperatures above the set target value,
while for temperatures below the target value the hot gas defrosting will
cut in.
z In normal cooling mode defrosting is used to de-ice the evaporator.
