COOKING STYLE FUNCTIONS

DELAY START

DELAY START function can be set to activate a pre-arranged cooking setting for up to
24 hours in advance.
Using the provided measuring cup, fill cooking pot with water and add all the
ingredients. Fill the cooking pot at minimum 1/5, refer to the marking indicated inside
the cooking pot. Place food into the cooking pot.
Close the lid a ''click'' is heard then plug the appliance.
Select DELAY START function. Appliance will beep, light indicator near the

selected button will blink (standby mode). While blinking, the default setting will
appear at 02:00.
NOTE: The time can be changed by pressing the ''+'' and ''-''. Time can be
adjusted in increments of 30 minutes.

Press on desired cooking function. Appliance will beep, light indicator near the
selected button will blink (standby mode). While blinking, if needed, press the ''+''
or ''-'' to change cooking time.
Press START button to select.

Once the DELAY START is over, the appliance will automatically start the cooking

process. Rolling bars will appear indicating that the heating stage has started, and
selected button will illuminate.
NOTE: Refer to PRESET COOKING FUNCTIONS to follow the cooking and the
opening pressure cooker protocol.
WARNING: The delay start is not recommended with thick liquids ,meat and dairy
products beyond 2 hours to avoid contamination.
SLOW COOK
SLOW COOK function is programmed to cook at a low temperature over an extended
period of time. Using the provided measuring cup fill cooking pot with water and add
all the ingredients. Fill the cooking pot at minimum 1/5, refer to the marking indicated
inside the cooking pot. Place food into the cooking pot. For best results, the cooking
pot should be at least half-filled. When cooking soups or stews, allow a 2-inch (5 cm)
space between the food and the top of the cooking pot, so ingredients can come to a
simmer.
