Cleaning

KTS ���
The housing and the display of the KTS 670 may only
be cleaned with soft cloths and with neutral cleansing
agents. Do not use any abrasive cleansing agents or any
rough workshop cleaning cloths!

Data carrier
Clean the CD-ROM or DVD-ROM with a disk cleaning kit
or wipe the silver side of the disk carefully with a soft,
lint-free cotton cloth. Do not use a paper towel, as this
can lead to scratches being formed.

DVD drive
Clean the DVD drive regularly with a cleaning disk for
the CD-ROM or DVD drive. These cleaning disks can be
obtained from the majority of computer or consumer
electronics retailers.

Battery change
If handled incorrectly, there is a risk of
ignition, bursting and combustion!
Do not heat, burn, short-circuit or me-
chanically damage the battery pack, and
do not charge it with excessive current or
with the poles incorrect!
Suitable extinguishing agents: Water, CO
sand.

Only use the original Bosch battery pack for the
KTS 670! The smart rechargeable battery chip must
be reprogrammed every time the battery is replaced.
Used battery packs must be disposed of according
to the valid guidelines.

Removal
CAuTIOn – Risk of irreparable damage.
Touching an incorrect pin can cause severe
damage to the circuit board.
Ensure that the battery connector is posi-
tioned correctly.
1.
Turn off the KTS 670.
2.
Unscrew the screws (1) on the rear of the KTS 670
unit and lift the cover panel (3).
3.
Disconnect the fan connection (2).
4.
Unscrew the screws (4) on the top of the battery
cover panel (5) and remove the cover panel.
5.
Remove the battery pack (7) and disconnect the
battery connection (6).
