filter out of the recess. Shake the filter out well and
replace it.

The electrical cord is wrapped around the unit for stor-
age as shown in Fig. 15.
Apart from accessories 5 + 7 (contained in the appli-
ance) all other accessories can be stored in the storage
bag.

9. Maintenance

IMPORTANT: Unplug hand-held vacuum cleaner before
performing any maintenance.
Use only mild soap and a damp cloth to clean your vac-
uum. Never let any liquid get inside the vacuum; never
immerse any part of the vacuum in a liquid.
NOTE: Make sure that the vacuum is completely dry
before using it.
IMPORTANT: To ensure product safety and reliability;
repairs, maintenance and adjustments (other than those
listed in this manual) should be carried out only by the
Royal Appliance service centre or other Royal Appliance
authorized service centre.
This product is not intended for commercial use.

12. Warranty

As the manufacturer, we assume a two years' warranty
from the date of purchase for this device.
Within this warranty period, we shall – at our discretion
– by repair or exchange of the device remedy all defi-
ciencies caused by material or manufacturing defects.
The warranty does not apply to damages caused by inap-
propriate utilization, usual wear and tear and defects
that only slightly affect the value or serviceability of the
device.
Repair by persons that have not been authorized by us
or the use of spare parts other than the original Royal
Appliance parts will invalidate the warranty.
The warranty will not be effective unless the purchase
date has been confirmed by the dealer's stamp and sig-
nature on the warranty card or a copy of the invoice is
enclosed in the package.

of the malfunction with the remark 'Warranty' and enclo-
