Deactivation and scrapping of appliance
OBLIGATION TO DISPOSE OF MATERIALS USING THE LEGISLATIVE PROCEDURE IN FORCE IN
THE COUNTRY WHERE THE APPLIANCE IS SCRAPPED.
PURSUANT TO Directives (see Section no. 0.1) relating to the reduction of use of the hazardous substan-
ces in electrical and electronic appliances and to waste disposal. The barred bin symbol on the equipment
indicates that at the end of its useful life it must be collected separately from other waste.
Differentiated waste collection of this appliance at the end of its life is organised and implemented by the ma-
nufacturer. The user disposing of this equipment should contact the manufacturer and follow the system that
the latter has adopted to enable the separate collection of equipment once it has reached the end of its life.
Proper separate collection for subsequent recycling and environmentally friendly disposal of the equipment
helps prevent possible negative effects on health and the environment and promotes the recycling of the ma-
terials that make up the equipment. Improper disposal of the product by the owner involves the application
of administrative penalties under current legislation.
Specialised personnel is in charge of deactivation and scrapping of the appliance.
Waste disposal
During operation and maintenance, do not disperse pollutants (oils, grease, etc.) into the en-
vironment and perform differentiated waste disposal depending on the composition of the
different materials and in compliance with relevant laws in force.
Illegal waste disposal will be prosecuted by laws in force in the territory where the violation has been
ascertained.
