11 Troubleshooting

Error
Some programmes are not
displayed in the programme list
Sound is okay, but no picture
Device cannot be operated
Remote control does not work
Rectangular blocks occasionally
appear on the screen. The picture
freezes sometimes, with no sound.
The screen temporarily goes black
and the message "No signal"
appears on the screen.
No signal when using an active
antenna
No picture or sound, and the
LED display is blank
Some programmes are no longer
received
Possible reason
The wrong programme list was
selected
Radio mode is activated
Bad data stream-->Device
is blocked
Batteries have no more power
Antenna is not properly adjusted
The antenna feed (5 V) is
switched off
No mains voltage
Defective or missing cable
connection
Antenna is not properly adjusted
Antenna has been moved or is
defective
The programme is now broadcast
on a different channel
The programme is no longer
broadcast

Remedy
Choose a different programme
list (see section 7.2.3.1)
Switch to TV mode
Remove the mains plug for
5 seconds, then turn the
device back on
Replace the batteries
Re-adjust the antenna
Switch on the antenna feed
(section 6.2.4)
Check the mains connection
and connectors
Check all cable connections
Re-adjust the antenna
Check the antenna
Perform a search (see section 8.3)
