3 • Intercom Automatic Answering Mode (Door Mem)
Before activating the "TAM" function, you must first register the home answering system which will be automati-
cally broadcast from the intercom panel when a visitor rings.
To record a greeting in intercom "TAM" mode:
- In "Menu" , select the icon
- Select "Record Ann" confirm with "OK"
- Select "Leave Memo", press "OK"
- "Record", "OK"
- Leave your message and end with "Stop"
- Listen, to accept the message, return to the main menu by pressing "Back" or to re-record press "OK"
To select the intercom "TAM" mode:
- In "menu", select the icon
- Select "Set Mode", confirm with "OK"
- Select "Leave Memo" and confirm with " OK"
- "Back" to the main screen
- "Door Mem." appears on the screen
When your visitor presses the button on the intercom panel, it immediately broadcasts the pre-recorded message
(e.g. "I'm not at home, leave a message.")
TELIA then starts recording your visitor's message for a maximum duration of 90 seconds for each message and
30 minutes total messages (gate + phone).
If someone visits in your absence, "New messages" will be displayed on the handset screen and the green LED
"message" will flash on the base station.
Reminder: Remember that before you can turn on the answering system, you must first register a greeting.
You can listen to your visitor's messages any time in "TAM" intercom mode:
From the handset:
- Select the icon
- Select "Play recording" and then "OK"
- to return to the main screen, or "delete" to clear the message
- In "Menu", select icon
- Select "Message", then "OK"
- Select "Play" and then "OK"
- to return to the main screen, or "clear" to clear the message
From the base station

You can choose between three durations (30, 60 or 90 seconds) to set the length of the message that will be
recorded in "TAM" mode.
To select the length of the message mode "Answer" on the intercom:
- In " Menu", select icon
- Select "Memo Length" confirm with "OK"
- Select your message length 30, 60 or 90 seconds. Confirm with "OK"
- "Back" to the main screen
