Set the Flash TELIA duration
If you use your TELIA in a telephone system, it may be necessary to change the Flash duration of the phone.
1. Press [Menu] to access the main menu. Scroll down to the symbol
menu.
2. Scroll down to the "Network" menu and press [OK].
3. Scroll down to the "Recall" menu and press [OK] again.
4. Use the keys to select 90, 270 or 600 milliseconds and confirm with [OK].
• Set the dialling pause
At the request of a central telephone system, you can adjust the dialling pause after the first digit. To do so, please
pay attention to the operating instructions of your telephone system. The pause time can be set from 1 to 6
seconds.
1. Press [Menu] to access the main menu. Scroll down to the symbol

2. Scroll down to the "Network" menu and press [OK].
3. Scroll down to the "Pause" menu and press [OK] again.
4. Use the keys to select the pause time and confirm with [OK].
• Number dialing: choice between Tone dialling (Tone) or Pulse Mode
The DECT phone is configured by default to Tone dialling (Tone)
To change the configuration:
1. Press [Menu] to access the main menu. Scroll down to the symbol
Then press [OK] to open the setup menu.
2. Scroll down to the "Network" menu and press [OK].
3. Scroll down to the "Dial Mode" menu and press [OK] again.
4. Use the keys to select "pulse" and confirm with [OK].
• Keypad lock
Follow these steps to activate the keypad lock:
1. Press the * key and hold until the acoustic beep.

The automatic answering system can also be used from mobile handsets, although some functions, such as activat-
ing the answering system or listening to messages, are easier to perform from the base station.
You can choose between 6 different settings:

Answer/2-ring
Answer/4-ring
Answer/6-ring
Answer/8-ring

The phone broadcasts announcement 2, the caller cannot, however, leave a message.
The answering system is activated after 2 rings.
