PAINT AND DECALS
Algunos modelos RC se suministran con una carrocería sin pintar.
Éstos se enmascaran y se pintan desde el interior (consulte también la sección "pintura de las ven-
tanas"). Los agujeros de la carrocería pueder realizarse antes o después de que la carrocería quede
pintada, para ello utilice una Herramienta taladro para carrocerías de LRP (#65701).
Pintura y adhesivos
Después de que haya cortado la carrocería con unas tijeras de lexan, limpie la carrocería con
lavavajillas y déjela secar. A continuación puede colocar el enmascaramiento de las ventanas ya que
la carrocería será pintada desde dentro. Para pintar debe utilizar pintura de policarbonato (Pintura
Magic Colour 2 de LRP).
Aplique muchas capas finas de color y déjelo secar por al menos 12 horas (consulte las instruc-
ciones en el bote de spray).Después de pintar la carrocería, retire el film transparente protector de la
carrocería y coloque los adhesivos de la carrocería.
Precaución: pinte solo en zonas exteriores o con muy buena ventilación.
Pintura de las ventanas
Tiene dos maneras diferentes de pintar las ventanas. La primera es pintar toda la carrocería y a
continuación colocar adhesivos de ventara en el exterior de la carrocería. La otra forma es utilizar
adhesivos de ventana en el interior de la carrocería, a continuación pinte la carrocería completa-
mente, déjela secar y retire los adhesivos. Con esto obtendrá ventanas transparentes.
Several vehicles will be delivered with clear bodies.
They will be masked and painted on the inside (please have a look to the hint of "Illustration of the
windows").
The pre-marked body holes could be done before or after painting with a LRP Body Reamer Wrench
(Order No. 65701).
After you have cut the bodyshell with a lexan scissors, please wash the body with dish soap and
dry it completely. Then you can apply the windows-mask from inside, as the bodyshell will be
painted from the inside aswell (please have a look to the hint of "Illustration of the windows"). For
painting please use only polycarbonate paint (reference LRP Magic Colour 2).
Please apply several skinny layers of the colour and let it dry for at least 12 hours (follow information
on the spray can). After painting the bodyshell, please remove the protective film first and then start
with the decalisation of the bodyshell.
Caution: painting must be done only in well-ventilated areas or outside of a building!
Illustration of the windows
You have two different ways to "paint" the windows.
One way is to paint the complete bodyshell and then
apply the window stickers at the outside of the body (re-
moving protective film first). The other way you use the
window stickers on the inside of the body. Then you paint
the body completely, let it dry and remove the stickers.
