• Pressure unloader/regulation valve
Valve, suitably calibrated by the Manufacturer, for regulating work pressure (not on FDX2 10/150) by
means of a knob (17) and that allows the pumped fluid to return to pump suction thus preventing
the onset of dangerous pressures when closing the spray gun or when trying to set a pressure that is
above the maximum permitted values.
• Spray gun lever lock device.
Safety stop (32) for locking the spray gun (19) or (57) lever (33) in the closed position so it cannot be
started accidentally (Fig. 6, position S).
Make sure the following are inside the pack of the product you have purchased:
• high pressure cleaner;
• handle (not for FDX Xtreme as it is integrated in the frame);
• high pressure delivery hose;
• spray gun;
• lance hose (not for FDX Xtreme as it is integrated in the spray gun);
• bag of accessories with:
- the operating and maintenance manual;
- the engine operating and maintenance manual;
- the declaration of conformity;
- the booklet giving the assistance centres;
- the warranty certificate;
- the handle fixing kit: screws, washers, knobs (FDX-PRO) or nuts (for all the other models);
- suction kit with: fitting, gasket and clamp (FDX-PRO, FDX4 and FDX Xtreme); fitting and filter
(FDX2 10/150); fitting, filter and clamp (for all the other models);
- detergent suction hose kit including filter and clamp (not for FDX2 10/150 and FDX Xtreme);
- foam lance (FDX2 10/150 only);
- nozzle cleaning needle;
If any problems arise please contact your dealer or an authorised assistance centre.
You can add the following range of accessories to the standard ones supplied with your high pressure
cleaner:
• sandblasting lance: designed to smooth surfaces, removing rust, paint, encrustations, etc.;
• drain cleaning kit: designed to unclog pipes and ducts;
• different types of lances and nozzles;
• rotating brush: designed for cleaning fragile surfaces;
• rotating nozzle: designed for removing stubborn dirt;
• foam lance: designed for a more efficient distribution of the detergent;
• thermostatic valve: designed to prevent the pump gaskets from overheating during prolonged
operation in bypass (can only be used if mains water is used to supply the high pressure cleaner).
NOTE: the thermostatic valve is a standard feature on the FDX2 10/150, FDX-Elite and FDX Xtreme
models.
INSTALLATION - ASSEMBLING THE ACCESSORIES
AND FILLING THE ENGINE CRANKCASE WITH OIL
• Fix the handle (4) to the frame (3) using the kit supplied: screws (5), washers (6) and knobs (10) for
FDX-PRO; screws (5), washers (6) and nuts (7) for all the other models (in this case use a 13 mm fixed
jaw spanner, not supplied). Operation A in Fig. 1, 2, 3 and 4.
