"HOME KIT " MONODECODER Programming
Once the installation and connection of the different Home KIT devices is complete, the monodecoder must
be programmed.
Depending on the type of installation (ADS or MDS), monodecoder programming is done in one way or the
other:
ADS INSTALLATIONS
Take the steps described in the previous section: "MONODECODER Programming in Villa Kit (ADS
installations)"
If the outdoor panel has a keypad, in step 3 use the panel keypad to enter the number of the house
followed by the bel key.
MDS INSTALLATIONS
The monodecoder function is to act as an interface between the MDS panels and the home terminals.

NOTES:
- The coexistence in the same installation is possible of conventional audio decoders, 2-wire
decoders and monodecoders. The connection between them will be by Fermax connector
sleeve Ref. 5918 (4x1mm2 + Screened Twisted Pair).
- The maximum distance between a monodecoder and an On Line/Detecta4 monitor is 100 metres
with 1 mm2 section cable.
- No two decoders can be programmed with the same address.
