Configuration of Protection Zones
A careful inspection of the home must take place, in order to classify the different areas, in line with the
following table:
1. Possible penetration zones.
2. Obligatory transit zones.
3. Security zones.
First of all, the type 3 zone or zones need to be identified, i. e. those where the most valuable objects
may be kept.
The corridors, vestíbules, stairways, distributors, etc. that go from the possible penetration zones to
the type 3 zones are obligatory transit zones.
Entrances are always possible penetration zones (type 1).
It is recommendable to install at least 3 sensors (included in the kit):
- One of the sensors will protect the entrance normally used by the user and is delayed, so that they
have enough time to get to the monitor and disarm the alarm zones.
- Another sensor will be placed in a transit area or distributor (type 2), i. e. the point where people are
obliged to go through to access the different rooms in the house.
- Another sensor will be placed in the room (type 3) where the most valuable objects in the house are
kept (money, jewellery, works of art...).
In this way, three types of zone are defined:
- Zone 1: entrance zone with delay. Intrusion Sensor (PIR).
- Zone 2: main transit zone. Intrusion Sensor (PIR).
- Zone 3: security zone. Intrusion Sensor (PIR).
