SafETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Your Twin-Skate corresponds to the highest quality standards. All materials have been carefully
chosen and assembled using quality assured measures so that the product can have a wide spec-
trum of uses. However we would also like to point out that inexperienced use of the Twin-Skate and
improper handling can quickly lead to excessive wear, damage to the product, or injuries. Therefore
we cannot take responsibility for damages arising from such actions.
• Beginners should practice their driving with a friend or their parents.
• Children under 8 years of age should always be supervised when driving.
• When driving safety always has precedence over speed! Never travel downhill quicker than you
could run if you jumped off!
• A surface must be chosen which makes it possible for driving skills to be improved – not
pavements or streets where serious accidents could happen to Twin-Skaters or others.
• It takes time to learn anything, new tricks also. If you lose your balance you should not wait until you
fall off, but should jump off and start again. Initially you should only descend on moderate slopes.
• The worst injuries are fractures so you should first learn how to fall without the Twin-Skate (using a
rolling motion if possible).
• Before jumping off the Twin-Skate you should watch out for where it might roll – it could injure
others.
• Never go driving without hand, wrist, knee and elbow guards and a helmet!
• Wear sports shoes with end-to-end anti-slip soles when driving! Make sure that the sole is dry
• Use the Twin-Skate on surfaces suitable for driving. They should be flat, clean, dry and as free
from traffic as possible.
• Always be considerate of other road users and please note that the Twin-Skate is not a vehicle
in the sense of road traffic regulations. Don't use it in traffic.
• Before you begin, check the roller wheels and axles and connecting elements. They should all be
tightened properly.
• Adjust your speed in accordance with your driving abilities.
• Do not carry out any changes to the Twin-Skate which would affect its safety. The selflokking effects
of self-securing nuts and the paintwork can be reduced after repeated loosening and tightening of
the fastening elements.
• Regular checks, maintenance and servicing will increase the safety and lifespan of your Twin-Skate.
• Look for splits and cracks on the Twin-Skate! Remove them, if required. This is for your safety.
• The use of the product requires specific skills and knowledge to be able to avoid injuries due to
crashes and collisions.
• WARNING! Twin-skating can be dangerous.
USaGE INSTRUCTIONS
Nothings's easy at first ...
... most accidents happen to "beginners" within the first ten minutes. Particular care should be taken
during this stage.

Riding Instructions
Practice at the start with someone to hold you as you make your first attempts. Since the Twin-Skate
only rides on two wheels, which are in turn also mounted on two independent platforms, the initial
attempt will in most cases be shaky. Place the Twin-Skate with wheels pointing downwards right in
front of you on a flat, smooth floor (Fig. 1). Now place one foot on the rear deck, so that you hold it to the
floor with your toes (Fig. 2). Use the other foot to turn the front deck in a horizontal position to the floor
and place the foot slightly obliquely to the direction of movement with the toes pointing forwards on the
deck at the height of the wheel axle (Fig. 3). During the first attempt, you should hold onto someone or
something! Now obliquely place the back foot on the back deck at the axis height (Fig. 4). Your first slight
swing will be experienced, while getting onto the Twin-Skate.
Drive (theory)
The drive of the Twin-Skate is based on the fact that the two wheels are mounted at an angle to the
decks and are consistently moved out of their position of rest practically through a 0 ° rotation to move
in straight direction. This occurs as a counter reaction. By shifting the legs and the center of mass to the
right and to the left of the direction of movement, the wheels are moved out of their position of rest by a
few degrees and the drive is then generated over the oblique bearings.
Riding (practice)
The Twin-Skate is moved by the shifting of the body weight in particular the pelvis. Through brief twist
movements of the hips, the two platforms are repeatedly (only a few cm) moved from one side to the
other. The Twin-Skate thereby forms zigzag lines. The twist movements should be started slowly and
then increasingly be built up. Tact has thereby to be found, in order to ensure a uniform acceleration.
Braking
The easiest to brake is by jumping off the Twin-Skate at high speeds. One should thereby be very careful,
in order to avoid the Twin skate hurting anyone or damaging anything. One should first slow down by
maneuvering through a tight curve, and as such direct the Twin-Skate in a safe direction.
