II SECTION II: INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE
II. 1 TRANSPORT INSTRUCTIONS
II. 1.1 PACKAGING, COMPONENTS
DANGER!
Do not open or tamper with the packaging until it is in the place of installation. The units should only be moved and
lifted by specialist personnel trained in these operations.
Follow the instructions below when removing the packaging:
• Check for visible damage;
• Open the packaging;
• Make sure that the envelope containing the use and maintenance manual is present;
• Dispose of the packaging material in keeping with current legislation, delivering it to specific collection or recycling
centers.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION!
Dispose of the packaging materials in compliance with the national or local legislation in force in your country.
DANGER!
Do not leave the packaging within reach of children.
II. 1.2 HANDLING INSTRUCTIONS
DANGER!
The unit should be moved with care, in order to avoid damage to the external structure and to the internal
mechanical and electrical components. Also make sure that there are no obstacles or people blocking the route, to
avoid the danger of collision, crushing or the lifting-gear overturning. Always use personal protective equipment.
All the above operations must be performed in compliance with current safety standards, both as regards the
equipment used, and the operating methods. Before moving the unit, make sure that the lifting capacity is suitable for
the weight of the unit in question. The units can be moved/lifted manually or by means of a forklift truck. If the unit
weights more than 30kg, it must be lifted by two people. However, we recommend using a forklift truck. If several
machines need to be moved at the same time, we recommend placing them in a container and lifting it with a forklift
truck or similar.
II. 1.3 STORAGE CONDITIONS
The packaged units are stored by placing no more than four units one on top of the other. They must be stored in a dry
place.
II. 1.4 CLEARANCES AND POSITIONING
IMPORTANTE!
Incorrect positioning or installation of the unit may amplify noise levels and vibrations generated during operation.
To position the unit, use the fixture template provided with the same.
