1. PRELIMINARY CONSIDERATIONS.
Before connecting the detectors to the Control Unit, the general switch must be in the OFF position and the batteries
must not be connected. All the gas inputs of the detectors, with the exception of EXP and O
with the stoppers supplied. Follow next indications before starting-up the system.
PROGRAMMING THE DETECTOR NUMBER. WITH SW1
NUMBERING THE DETECTORS DEPENDING ON THE NUMBER OF GROUPS PROGRAMMED
Toxic Gases
1 Group
Detector nº *1 to 16
2 Groups
Detector nº *1 to 8
4 Groups
Detector nº *1 to 4
Explosive Gases
1 Group
Detector nº *1 to 16
2 Groups
Detector nº *1 to 8
To configure the groups always start with the detector number marked with (*).
Group parameters are independent for type of gas, group, alarm level, ventilation level, etc.
Please remember that each group will only be able to measure one type of gas and act upon one independent active
element.
NUMBER OF GROUPS PER MODULE LINE
Detection of toxic gases will be programmed for 1, 2, or 4 groups / module line.
Detection of explosive Gases -EXP- will be programmed up to 2 groups / module line - 1 or 2 -.
The number of programmed detection groups per module line depends also on the number of ventilation speeds or outputs
Before the system starts-up.
