NOTICE

► Do not use abrasive, chemically aggressive or
easily flammable cleaning agents.
Cleaning devices:
All cleaning devices must be clean themselves.
For cleaning:
- Damp cloth or sponge.
For drying:
- Slightly damp cloth.

Damage to the surfaces.
► Do not use any hard, sharp objects.
Cleaning steps:
- Move the goods to another device with the same
product temperature class.
- If display shelves (incl. pricing rails) are present, lift
and remove the base plates/base shelf. Clean
before reinserting.
- Remove food residues, such as spilled liquids and
packaging residues.
- If present, clean the floor pan, surfaces and front
air intake grille.
- If present, clean the drain and drain sieve (see →
Fig. 12)

- Clean side walls, device frame, bump strips.
- For glass cleaning, see → Chapter 10.1.2
- If present, insert cleaned base plates/base display.
- If present, hook in cleaned display shelves.
CAUTION
Improper assembly of the
shelves/display shelves. Danger of
injury due to falling of shelves/display
shelves loaded with goods.
► Displays/display shelves must
fully engage in the slots provided
during suspension.
- Dry all parts with a slightly damp cloth.
- Clean the floor in the device for "ROLL-IN" devices.
- Clean the floor in front of the device.
- Check the temperature display on the internal
thermometer (see → Chapter 4.1 Fig. 2).

► The device must only be loaded with goods
when the temperature specified for the product has
been reached.

10.1.2 Glass cleaning (device-specific)
Safety in handling glass doors and glass
elements (see → Chapter 1.3)
Glass breakage hazard. Cutting
injuries to the body.
► With clear passageways take
note of opened glass doors.
► Do not apply a load onto the
glass doors.
Disposal of broken glass. Cutting
injuries to the hands and body.
► Wear protective gloves to
remove splintered glass parts and
goods possibly damaged by them.
► Remove all splintered glass
parts and damaged goods
carefully and completely.
Dispose of splintered glass parts in an
environmentally friendly manner.
NOTICE
• Material damage to broken glass doors/glass
elements.
► Operation of a device with a broken glass door
is no longer possible.
► Remove goods from the damaged device and
rearrange in a functional device with the same
product temperature class.
►Switch off the damaged device after removing
the goods (see → Chapter 9.2).
►Contact the maintenance service (see →
Chapter 10.4).
Glass types
Depending on the application area and function, the
following types of glass are used:
- Uncoated glasses
- Coated glasses
Laminated insulating glass with special
properties (very good heat reflection ability, anti-
condensation properties).
To maintain the properties of the glasses used, with
any associated plastic bezels and seals, the
following cleaning instructions (see → Chapter
10.1.2.1) must be observed.
NOTICE
Material damage due to bonding of glass surfaces
•
with stickers and films. When removing the
stickers/films, the surface is damaged. Destruction
of the coating and consequent impairment of the
function.
► Do not attach any stickers or decorative films to
glass surfaces.
Cleaning of uncoated and coated glass surfaces
Cleaning interval:
Regularly, as required.
