Time of cleaning:
At any time
Cleaning agent:
- Clean water (neutral pH, low water hardness).
- In the case of greater contamination:
Aqueous, neutral and weakly alkaline glass
cleaner (recommended pH: 5-7).
NOTICE
• Material damage due to incorrect cleaning agents.
Damage to the surfaces. Destruction of the
coating.
► Do not use grinding, abrasive cleaning agents.
► Do not use alkaline washing lyes and acids (pH
less than 5 or above 7).
► Do not use chemically aggressive cleaning
agents, e.g.
- descaling agents,
- degreasers,
- solvents (alcohols, acetone, etc.)
- Ammonia or chlorine-containing cleaning agents
Cleaning devices:
All cleaning devices must be clean themselves.
For cleaning:
- Soft cotton cloth
- Chamois leather
For drying:
- Soft, slightly damp cotton cloth.
NOTICE
Material damage due to incorrect cleaning devices.

Damage to the surface. Destruction of the coating
and consequent impairment of the function.
► Do not use microfiber cloths.
► Do not use coarse, harsh cleaning devices, e.g.
- Steel wool
- Fabrics with woven metallic threads
- Paper towels
► Do not use hard, sharp objects, e.g.
- Steel blades
► Do not use glass pullers (squeegees with rubber
lips).
► Do not use absorbent sponge cloths or
sponges.
Cleaning steps:
- Clean the glass surfaces.
- Also clean the associated plastic bezels/device
frame and seals. Do not apply large amounts of
cleaning agent to these surfaces to be cleaned.
NOTICE
Material damage due to improper cleaning.

Damage to the surface of plastic bezels/device
frame and impairment of the function of seals.
► There must not be any detergent residues on
the plastic bezels/device frame and seals.
► Always clean plastic bezels/device frame and
seals again with clean water.
- All cleaned surfaces must be dried again.
10.1.3 Main cleaning
Responsibility:
The main cleaning is an intensive cleaning and must
only be performed by AHT-authorized and trained
cleaning companies.
Cleaning interval:
- At least once a year or
- in the case of poor air permeability of the air conduits.
Checking of the air conduits by operating staff (at least
quarterly):
► If the air conduits are filled by more than one
third with dust and dirt, a main cleaning is required.
Cleaning steps:
Follow the separate cleaning manual.
This is available at the AHT-authorized cleaning
companies.
10.2 Maintenance, service and repairs
The maintenance, service and repair work, including
subsequent functional testing, must be performed by
qualified staff.
For questions about maintenance, please contact
the maintenance service (see → Chapter 10.4.).
WARNING
Work on the electrical system and
refrigerant circuit. Contact with live
parts may cause electric shock. For
devices of type R-290: The
refrigerant can escape and create an
explosive gas/air mixture. Risk of fire
due to sparks or overloading.
► Work on the electrical system and
refrigerant circuit may only be
performed by qualified staff.
► Follow the safety instructions in →
Chapter 1.6.
► Before any maintenance, service
and repair work.
1. Disconnect the device.
2. Secure the device against restarting.
► Devices of type R-290 with > 150g
refrigerant: During the maintenance,
service and repair work, a
knowledgeable person who knows
the local conditions must be available
as the contact person for the
qualified staff.
► Recommissioning and functional
testing must only be performed by
qualified staff.
Maintenance, service and repair
work on the device. Sharp edges,
rotating parts. Risk of injury to the
hands and body.
► Work on the device only be
performed by qualified staff.
► Wear protective gloves.
