WARNING
If the food is not placed on the grill
correctly, or if the grill is not hot
enough, this could lead to poor cook-
ing results.
When using the SteakMaster function, we rec-
ommend that you always place the enamel tray
in the lowest position on the tray supports inside
the oven. This will help to collect any juices creat-
ed during the cooking process, and prevent the
inner part of the oven cavity from getting dirty.
Please pour a glass of water on the lower
enamel tray to reduce the amount of smoke
generated during the cooking process.
WARNING
Never place the enamel tray below
the special grill, or rest it directly on
the floor of the oven.
TIPS FOR OPTIMUM COOKING RESULTS
WITH THE SteakMaster FUNCTION
• We recommend you always "Temperature
Prepare" the meat before starting to cook it
with this function. If you do so, the results will
be spectacular.
• If you want a rare finish, we recommend you
cut the meat slightly thicker.
• On the other hand, if you want a well-done
finish, we recommend you slice the meat fin-
er and/or in smaller pieces to improve heat
absorption.
• The meat should be left to rest for a few min-
utes before cutting.
• Depending on the "rest" time, different finish-
es (rare, medium, well-done) will be obtained,
as the meat will continue cooking with the
temperature reached in its core.
• Every time the oven door is opened, heating
resistors automatically switch off for safety
reasons. Therefore, the door should not be
kept open for too long when placing food in-
side the oven or turning it over.
• After a maximum of 33 minutes using the
SteakMaster function, it will not be possible
to use any other function for 15 minutes (rest
screen – cooling). After this period, the oven
will be available for use as normal.
• Given the nature of the cooking process and in
particular with fatty foods, quite a lot of smoke
may be generated during the process. This is
normal. In any case, we recommend that after
using the SteakMaster function, you run a py-
rolysis cleaning cycle to remove any fats which
have collected on the inside of the oven.
WARNING
RISK OF FIRE
Excess fat collected inside the oven
may result in the appearance of ex-
cessive smoke or even flames during
the cooking process.
WARNING
The results obtained with your Steak-
Master will depend on the type of
electricity supply you have at home.
CAUTION
If, after a time, you observe any
damage to the upper heating plates,
please refrain from using the oven,
and notify the Technical Service.
WARNING
Remember to clean the glass of the
oven door after each cooking session.
If you do not, the accumulated grease
on the glass will burn and then it will
be very difficult to remove it.
The pyrolysis cleaning cycle is for
cleaning the oven cavity. It does not
clean the door. Remember to clean the
oven door before running a pyrolysis
cleaning cycle.
