Translation of the original instructions
SYMPTOMS
The welding wire speed is not constant.
The unwinding motor doesn't operate.
Bad wire unwinding.
No welding current
The WIRE rubs down after the rollers.
The weld bead is porous.
Very significant flashing particules.
No gas at the torch output.
The Spool on Gun does not work.
In Spool on Gun mode, the speed adjus-
tement knob on the machine does not
work.

POSSIBLE REASONS
Cracklings blocking up the opening.
The wire skids in the rollers.
Reel or roller brake too tight.
Electrical supply problem.
Covering wire guide dirty or damaged.
Reel brake too tight
Bad connection to the mains supply.
Bad earth connection.
Power contactor inoperative.
Covering WIRE guide crushed.
Locking of the wire in the torch
No capillary tube.
Wire speed too fast
The gas flow is not sufficient.
Gas bottle empty.
Gas quality non-satisfying.
Air flow or wind influence.
Gas nozzle too full.
Bad wire quality.
Surface to weld in bad condition. (rust,
etc...)
Arc voltage too low or too high.
Bad earth connection.
Protecting gas insufficient.
Bad gas connection.
Connection problem
Normal condition of the machine.
SOLUTIONS
Clean out the contact batch or change it
and replace the anti-adherence product.
Control the roller pressure or replace it.
Wire diameter non-consistent with roller
Covering wire guide in the torch not
consistent with wire.
Release the brake and rollers.
Check that the running button is on the
position on.
Clean or replace
Release the brake
Check the branch connection and ensure
it is fed by 3 phases.
Control the earth cable (connection and
clamp condition).
Control the torch trigger.
Check the covering and torch body.
Clean or replace.
Check the presence of capillary tube.
Reduce the wire speed
Adjusting range 15 to 20 L / min. Clean
the working metal.
Replace it.
Replace it.
Avert air blast, protect welding area.
Clean or replace the gas nozzle.
Use adapted WIRE for MIG-MAG welding.
Clean the working parts before welding.
See welding settings.
Check and place the earth cable to have
a better connection.
Adjust the gas flow.
See if the gas coupling beside the engine
is well connected.
Check the torch connections (power and
control connectors).
When Spool on Gun is used, only the
wire speed knob on the torch is working.
