Mammut sound option

MAMMUT SOUND OPTION
As an option, it is possible to have the remote control make a sound. This Mammut sound is deactivated
when the equipment is supplied.
Please note that activating the Mammut sound increases the battery load. This will reduce the
service life of the battery!
The remote control must be switched off and the system in active.
Switching on
1. Press keys (5 and 6) simultaneously on the remote control.
2. Switch the remote control on at the on/off switch (2) whilst holding the keys pressed.
An LED self-test is performed first, then expert mode is activated. The operating status LED
flashes red. You can release both keys.
3. To activate the Mammut sound, press the keys (5 and 7).
4. Then switch the remote control off at the on/off switch (2).
The Mammut sound can be heard immediately after the remote control is switched on, when
the LED test has finished.

MAINTENANCE AND CARE

DANGER!
Danger due to inadvertent movement!
Never lie or bend under a vehicle that is not secured! Before maintenance and care work, move
the drives away from the wheels (apply the caravan's handbrake). Keep the remote control
where it cannot be used without authorisation.
We recommend having the Mammut checked by your dealership or directly by our service as part
of the annual inspection of your caravan.
The drives are not allowed to be used as jacking points.
Always remove the fuse or disconnect the supply battery before starting work on the drives.
Check the drive rollers, housing and cables regularly for damage.
In case of visible defects, please contact the nearest AL-KO service centre.
Check that all add-on parts are firmly seated before the start of each season.
Before each journey and after a tyre change, check whether the distance between the drives and
tyres is at least 20 mm.
Make sure the tyre pressure is at the prescribed level.
Comply with national legal regulations regarding the tread depth.
Use the same tyres on all driven wheels.
If necessary, clean the drive rollers and housing using water or a brush (not high-pressure cleaners).
Remove all foreign bodies from the drives.
Do not use excessive force when removing any foreign bodies. If necessary, apply the handbrake
and retract the drives.
