Radio remote control
Positioning drives on the wheels
CAUTION!
The drives are not allowed to be used as a parking brake!
The numbers in brackets in this section refer to figure 2.
Working steps
1. Switch on the radio remote control at the master switch (b).
All LEDs light up briefly one after another.
After that, the LED for the operating status starts to flash green.
2. Press the contact keys (f and g) at the same time.
3. Hold the bulge on the back of the remote control directly on the release switch for 5 seconds with
the keys pressed.
The drives are activated and perform a self-test.
There can be a brief sudden movement if the drives are in contact with the wheels.
Communication is established with the drives.
The operating status LED lights up continuously green.
The drives are active.
4. Press and hold the keys until the LEDs on the contact keys flash (fig. 3).
The procedure is activated – you can release the keys.
The drives move towards the wheels. The drives have only moved fully to the wheels once all LEDs
are continuously lit.
5. Check whether the drives are correctly in contact.
Following contact between the drives and the wheels, if the LEDs
nuously lit, this means there has been a fault during positioning into contact.
Retract the drives to reset the fault.
Perform the following steps if the drives could not be retracted fully (radio malfunction, remote
control switched off too soon).
Working steps
The numbers in brackets in this section refer to figure 2.
1. Switch on the remote control.
2. Hold the remote control on the release switch with the keys (d and e) pressed.
The drives are activated and retract!
The LEDs flash for at least five seconds.
When all LEDs have stopped flashing and gone out, this means all drives are retracted.
3. Wait until the operation LED flashes in addition.
The drives are only reliably switched off once the operation LED starts flashing in addition.
4. Check whether all drives have correctly retracted.
If not, repeat steps 1 - 4 once.
If it is repeatedly impossible to retract the drives, please refer to the Troubleshooting section.
5. Switch the remote control off.
