If the battery needs replacing, this will be indicated each time the
alarm system is armed or disarmed. In this instance, the dialer
pronounces the following sentence four times every 10 seconds:
The following text message will also be sent to the fi rst number
WARNING: MODEM BATTERY EXHAUSTED
REPLACING THE BATTERY
1 - Loosen the screw on the underside
of the device, lift off the cover
(bearing in mind that the two parts
are held together at the top by two
hooks).
2 - Remove the old battery and insert
a new one in the right position
(positive/negative poles).
3 - Replace the cover on the wall-
mounted housing and secure
it with the screw.
NB: when replacing the battery
m a k e s u r e t h a t t h e p o w e r
supplycontinues to reach the
device, otherwise the code will
have to be reset.
