a more urgent condition and the faster alarm
sequence will be indicated

"LO" "ALARM" displays.
NOTE: The LOW alarm (lower of the two %O 2 alarm settings) is latch-
ing and will not reset when O 2 concentration rises above the
LOW setpoint.

To reset alarm push the TEST button
False oxygen alarms can occur due to barometric pressure
(altitude) changes or extreme changes in ambient temperature.
It is recommended that an oxygen calibration be performed at
the temperature and pressure of use. Be sure that the instru-
ment is in known fresh air before performing a calibration.

Special requirements for ALTAIR PRO O 2 -R Remote
Oxygen Detector:
•
Operate this instrument only in ambient
temperatures ranging from 0ºC to 40ºC
(32ºF to 104ºF).
•
If the instrument is taken into an environment where
the ambient temperature is 15ºC (59ºF) or more,
higher or lower, than its previous location, do not
use the instrument for a period of 40 minutes to
allow the sensor to adjust to the new conditions.
After this 40-minute period, perform a Fresh Air Set-
up (FAS) to re-zero the sensor. Perform the FAS in
fresh air only.
