C_ GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

In order to protect your baby adequately and to ensure their comfort and stability in the car, the following ins-
tructions must be strictly followed:
This seat is only suitable for cars fitted with the ISOFIX anchoring system, approved under Regulation ECE-14
or other equivalent standards.
Your BALANCE safety seat can be installed on the front seat, if it is not fitted with an airbag, or back seat of your
vehicle. However, we advise you to install it on the back seat. If it is installed on the front seat of the vehicle,
make sure it IS NOT fitted with an airbag, or that the airbag is disconnected. You should also check the Traffic
Law of the country where you are driving.
Not all safety systems are exactly the same, therefore we advise you to check your BALANCE in the car in which
it is going to be fitted.
It is very important not to use second-hand products, as JANÉ can only guarantee complete safety with items
used by their first buyer.
JANÉ recommends that you replace your BALANCE safety seat with a new one if it has been subjected to
violent stress in an accident.
Check that all the seat straps are in the correct position and duly adjusted to your BALANCE. Make sure that
none of the straps are twisted. The child must understand that he must not play with the straps or fasteners
under any circumstances.
Do not install the safety seat on sideways seats in the vehicle or rear facing seats, this is very dangerous.
