Mounting
Mounting through bore holes in the housing for M4 screws or using the
BTU 0300M-W, BT 300 W, BT 56, BT 300-1 mounting system (accessories).
NOTE
Degree of protection IP 65 is achieved only if the connectors and caps are
screwed into place!

Electrical connection – Commissioning with factory settings
 Connect the BPS 3xxi via MS 3xx, MK 3xx, ME 3xx or KB 30x.
 Connect voltage supply and, if necessary, switching input, USB service inter-
face and host/bus interface.
 Switch on operating voltage, PWR LED must illuminate green.
 Position the bar code tape in front of the BPS, at a distance of approx. 100mm.
 After successful determination of the position, the PWR LED is permanently lit
green.
