6.4.4. AUTO MODE (PROHEAT II CHILLER MODEL)
Start-up process:
Start-up conditions: Water intake temperature < (Setpoint temperature - Auto mode
temperature differential); Compressor stop time ≥ Compressor delay time, then it enters Heat
mode.
If the water intake temperature < (Setpoint temperature + Auto mode temperature
differential); and the Compressor stop time ≥ Compressor delay time, then it enters Cool
mode.
Stop process:
Compressor 1 stops, Compressor 2 stops 10s later, the fans stop and the water pump stops 30s
later.
6.4.5. DEFROST FUNCTION
The regulator monitors the temperature in the evaporator when the machine is in heat mode
and decides when to activate the defrost function depending on how long the machine has
been running in that low temperature condition. In other words, the defrost calculator starts
timing when the equipment defrost temperature falls below "Start defrost temperature" and
starts running when the time setting under that temperature reaches the "Start defrost time".
If the evaporator temperature rises over the "Start defrost temperature" during timing, the
defrost calculator resets and starts timing again when the evaporator temperature drops again
below the "Start defrost temperature".
