PROHEAT II SERIES · AIR/WATER SYSTEM
If three alarms from this protection are triggered in one hour, the system will lock down and
error code "A12" or "A14" will appear. The machine will have to be restarted manually to
unlock the system.

6.5.7. DISCHARGE TEMPERATURE PROTECTION

When the compressor discharge temperature is higher than F45, the machine will stop and
error "A24" or "A25" will appear. The machine will start running again as soon as the
compressor discharge temperature drops (F45-10ºC). Each compressor runs separately.
However, if this protection triggers 3 alarms in one hour, the system will lock down in alarm
status. The machine will have to be restarted manually to unlock the system.
6.5.8. PROTECTION AGAINST EXTREME WATER INLET AND OUTLET
TEMPERATURE DIFFERENCE
The difference between inlet and outlet water temperatures will be controlled by the regulator
for 5 seconds. If the difference is higher than F72, error code "A44" will appear 5 seconds later
and the compressor will stop. If this protection triggers 3 alarms in one hour, the system will
lock down in alarm status. The machine will have to be restarted manually to unlock the
system.

6.5.9. LOW AMBIENT TEMPERATURE LIMIT

If the outside temperature is lower than F26, the compressor will not be able to start (except
defrost in winter). Only the electrical resistor can function.

6.5.10. WATER ANTI-FREEZE PROTECTION IN WINTER

This protection is not active when the outside temperature is over 3ºC. If the water
temperature is below 4ºC, the outside temperature is below 3ºC and the machine is stopped
or in standby, the machine will start the water pump to make sure that water does not stay in
the frozen pipes.

6.5.11. PROBE FAILURE PROTECTION

The temperature probes for Evaporator 1, Discharge 1, Evaporator 2 and Discharge 2 run
independently in each circuit and trigger different error codes to distinguish the circuits.
If a water intake temperature probe fails, the machine will stop.
If the error is corrected, the equipment will start up again.
Note:If an error occurs while the machine is running, the water treatment pump will
continue running for 5 minutes and will then stop.
