INSTALLATION GUIDE

The unit incorporates a step by step installation program which enables a standard
operation of the unit to be programmed. However, all the configuration options may
later be accessed by using the programming menu.

10- MODE SELECTION

The unit may operate either in Hotel or Business mode. The selection of the mode
is made by configuring the switches located under the unit.
When modifying the switches make sure the power is OFF.

10.1 Business Mode

Set the switches as follows:

10.2 Hotel Mode / Guest Version

Set the switches as follows:

Note:
Switch 4 is the battery switch which sustains the memory in the case of a mains
failure. For electrical reasons, its default position is OFF. For an optimal use of the
unit, it is recommended to set it to ON at the outset of installation.

11- CONNECTING THE UNIT

11.1 Connection to the PBX

Use the supplied cable to hook up the V24 connector of your PBX to the 9 pin
connector labelled PABX which is located on the unit's rear panel or prepare a cable
to fit your needs
