- Using a #1 Phillips Head Screw Driver and furnished screws connect the power cord retention bracket
to the IntraTemp Solution Warmer via the threaded connectors located to each side of the power inlet
module.
8.4

IntraTemp Basin Temperature Verification:

The IntraTemp basin solution temperature should be verified every five (5) years. The following items
are required to perform this verification:
- Calibrated Fluke 51II Digital Thermometer or equivalent.
- Shrouded 6" long Type T Thermocouple Probe.
Install a ThermaBasin. Add two (2) liters of saline or water into the ThermaBasin. Turn the unit on and
allow the fluid to heat for two (2) hours.
Place the tip of the Thermocouple Probe into the fluid (without contacting the basin) at a point ~1" (2.5 cm)
above the center of the basin. The temperature indicated by the calibrated thermometer should be at Set-
Point ±1°C (±1.5°F). If the temperature is not within the specified range, contact Ecolab/Microtek
Customer Service.
