When mowing, always wear suitable clothes, such
as sturdy shoes, long pants and possibly gloves.
Never mow while barefoot or wearing thin san-
dals.
The mower can also be used as manual lawn
mower without battery operation.
Switching mower on / off

Connect circuit breaker 11. In doing so, mower

should be on level ground, so that both wheels
touch the ground.
To start, push safety release button 2, and with
L
other hand pull safety start lever 1 against guide
handle 3. After motor starts running, let go of safety
release button 2.
Should it be difficult to start motor, or should it
lock, please see information in chapters "How to
mow your lawn correctly" or "Troubleshoot-
ing".
Switching off
To switch off motor, release safety start lever 1. The cut-
ting equipment 16 comes to a complete stop within a
few seconds.
Caution, risk of injury from rotating cutting
equipment! Cutting equipment continues to
rotate after motor is switched off. Stay away from
cutting equipment until motor has come to a full
stop.
Caution, mower protection! Charging does not
commence if battery is too hot; the status indica-
tor 21 flashes red. Range of charging temperature
lies between 0 °C to max. +45 °C. After battery
has reached its charging temperature again,
charging is continued; the status indicator 21
flashes green.
If the mower will not be used again immediately, discon-
nect circuit breaker 11.
The mower is in standby mode even when circuit breaker
has been disconnected. To prevent battery discharge,
remove battery from mower when not in use for a pro-
longed time. For this purpose, pull battery from contact rail .

Status indicator
The battery is equipped with a status indicator 21

that shows the charge state of the battery, as well as
mower malfunction.
Indicator states (green LED):
LED green continuous light
Charging finished, battery charged
LED green flashing light
Battery is being charged
Indicator states (red LED):
LED red continuous light
Residual charge: 15 %; BATTERY MUST BE
CHARGED SOON!
You still can continue working for approx. 3 min-
utes. The integrated battery protection circuit pre-
vents a depth discharge of the battery and switch-
es off power as soon as capacity is used up.

Overload, thermal protection or malfunction
Caution, mower protection! Red flashing
light! In case of overload, electronics switches
mower off, status indicator flashes red. Release
safety start lever and disconnect circuit breaker.
Search for cause before performing restart and
resuming work with mower. For additional infor-
mation, see chapter "How to mow your lawn
correctly" or "Troubleshooting".
If status indicator continuous to flash red during a
restart, an immediate inspection is required, pos-
sibly by manufacturer's customer service.
Grass catcher (accessories)
Caution, risk of injury from rotating cutting
equipment! Remove grass catcher only when
motor is switched off. Cutting equipment contin-
ues to rotate after motor is switched off. Stay
away from grass catcher until motor has come to a
full stop.

You do not have to rake up the grass clippings if you use
the grass catcher. It is available as an accessory from
authorised dealers.
To ensure clippings are correctly collected, lawn must be
dry and mower must be pushed at a continuous walking
pace.
