10. Assembly Instructions
Warning!
• Use only safety extra low voltage (SELV) to operate the device. Do not earth the
components.
• The power supply (not included in the scope of delivery, see accessories,
Chapter
19) must be set up outside of the wet area, in a separate room.
• Secure the electric connection with an earth leakage circuit breaker (RCD).
Failure to observe can mean risk of death or material damage, e.g. from electric
shock or fire.
Warning!
Operate this valve only in conjunction with the correct grit filter.
Failure to observe can lead to a damaged fitting.

Important!
Before installing, flush the pipes in compliance with DIN 1988.
10.1 Remove the shell protector.
10.2 Unscrew the locking screw (a) on the flow volume regulator.
10.3 Replace the filter (b).

Important!
Ensure that the filter is positioned correctly.
10.4 Screw-in the locking screw (a) on the flow volume regulator.
Caution!
While turning the union nuts (c), use an open-end spanner to hold the water volume
regulators (d) in place.
10.5 Remove the flush connector (g) and the existing seals.
10.6 Mount the solenoid valve (e) using new seals and the tube (j).
10.7 Mount the frame (h) horizontally.
10.8 If necessary, shorten the spacers (j) to fit between the front edge of the niche cabinet
and the surface of the tiles.

10.9 Mount the tube (f) to the outlet.
10.10 Check the water connections for leaks.

Important!
The solenoid valve must be connected before the power supply.
10.11 Connect the solenoid valve (k) to the AQUACONTACT sensor (l).
