SPECIAL FUNCTIONS

operate in sequence for its set run time.

Watering will

To resume automatic operation, reset the PGM switch for each zone to the
appropriate program A or B position.
Electronic Circuit Breaker
The 500 series controller features an electronic circuit breaker capable of
detecting a shorted valve solenoid or wiring condition.
If the controller detects a short circuit in one of the valve zones, the affected
zone will be automatically skipped during an automatic or semi-automatic
watering cycle. The display will alternately flash FUS ERROR, in addition to
displaying the affected valve zone number.
If the controller detects a short in the master valve/pump start circuit, the
watering cycle will be terminated, and the last active station number will be
displayed. Automatic watering will not occur until the controller is reset.
Refer to the Troubleshooting section on page 18. After determining and cor-
recting the cause of the problem, reset the controller for operation by pressing
the CLOCK key.
