INSTALLATION PROCEDURES
STEP 5: Connecting The Power Source – Indoor Model
Note: The plug-in transformer is supplied with the domestic indoor controller
models only.
1. Remove three screws securing the timing mechanism (TM) to the cabinet.
2. Route transformer power cord through the 1/2" (13mm) hole provided in the
cabinet base.
3. Remove two screws securing the power cord strain relief located on the
back wall of the cabinet.

4. Secure the power cord at the strain relief leaving 10'' (25 cm) of power cord
for attachment to the TM.
5. Connect the power cord insulated connectors to the terminal tabs on the TM
circuit board as shown in Figure 4.
6. Reinstall the TM and secure with three screws.
7. Plug the transformer into a 120 V a.c. wall receptacle.
STEP 6: Connecting The Battery
1. Connect a 9-volt alkaline battery (not supplied) to the battery connector in
the wiring compartment of the controller.
2. Place the battery in the wiring compartment.
3. Reinstall the lower front panel and secure with three screws.
CAUTION: Properly dispose of used batteries as recommended by
the battery manufacturer.
