ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

LUBRICATION

CAUTION
Inspect Before Use. Check for proper oil level
before operating!
Shown in Figure 4 for location of oil sight glass
and fill port. Check oil sight glass for oil level as
shown in Figure 5. If oil needs to be added, fill
with compressor oil until oil level is to the middle
of the red dot.
OIL INFORMATION
Kobalt Air Compressor Oil
Kobalt Synthetic Blend Oil
Mobil 1 synthetic 10W30
®
Oil Capacity
Do not use regular automotive oil. Additives
in regular motor oil can cause valve deposits
and reduce pump life. For maximum pump
life, drain and replace oil after the first fifty (50)
hours of operation and then follow the regular
maintenance schedule outlined later
in the manual.
This pump has an oil sight glass as shown
in Figure 4. Oil level can be monitored and
maintained as shown in Figure 5.
