Initial settings

Language

Please gather from Language if you wish to set a different language
(presetting: German).

Date and time

The date and the time are necessary so that the answerphone can store
messages correctly.
You will set the date and the time as follows:
► Press MENU.
► Go to the 'Settings' menu by pressing the key (on the side of the
device repeatedly and press MENU.
► The 'H/Set Settings' entry will appear. Go to the 'Time/Date' menu
point by pressing the key repeatedly and press MENU.
► The 'Time format' entry will appear. Press MENU.
► Select either the 24-hour or the 12-hour format
► Press MENU. The format will be stored.
► Press –. The 'Date format' entry will appear.
► Press MENU. Select either the DD/MM format (day before month) or
MM/DD (month before day) with +/–.
► Press MENU. The format will be stored.
► Press –. The 'Enter Time' will appear.
a.m. for the hours before noon or p.m. for the hours after noon will

appear behind the time, if you have selected the 12-hour time format.
