Troubleshooting

For appliance errors, please check first if you can eliminate the error
yourself with the help of the following overview.
Never try to repair the appliances yourself. If a repair is necessary, please
contact our Service Centre or other qualified personnel.
For all problems
The display on the
handset is blank.
Check that the power pack and the telephone
cable are inserted correctly (see Connecting the
power supply to the base station und
Connecting the base station to the telephone
network )[connecting the base station to the
telephone network].
Check the telephone at a different telephone
socket first.
Check that the battery is charged with the
battery display and that the handset is correctly
registered (see Registering handsets).
Check that the handset is within the range of the
base station.
Check that the handset is switched on (see
Answering the telephone).
Check that the batteries are charged and
inserted with the terminals correctly aligned (see
Inserting rechargeable batteries in the handset).
