Settings in the 'Answer' menu

Answering mode (with or without recording)
Open the 'Settings' sub-menu in the 'Answer Machine' menu.

Select the 'Answer mode' option here.


'Answer & Record.': The answerphone will answer the call and record
messages;

'Anser only.': The answerphone will answer the call without recording
a message.
Select the required setting and confirm with MENU.

Delay:
You can set the number of rings after which the answering machine will be
activated. You can choose between 2, 4, 6 and 8 rings and the "Economy
Mode".
Open the 'Settings' sub-menu and the 'Delay' option there, in the

'Answer Machine' menu.
Select the required number of rings or the Economy mode and confirm

with MENU.

Economy mode

You can avoid connection costs when listening to the answerphone from
outside in the Economy mode. The answerphone will switch on after 10
seconds in Economy mode if you have new messages in the case of a
remote enquiry. It will only switch on after 20 seconds in Economy mode if
