Never subject the batteries to excessive heat, such as solar radiation,
fire or similar sources of heat. For example, do not place the device
on a radiator. There will be an increased risk of leaking!
Avoid heavy impacts and vibrations.
Remove an exhausted battery from the device immediately. Clean the
contacts before inserting a new battery. There will be the danger of
burning by battery acid.
Do not dismantle or reshape the batteries. Your hands or fingers
could be injured.
If battery acid has leaked out, it is essential to avoid contact with the
skin, eyes and mucous membranes! Leaked battery fluid can cause
skin rash. If the acid does come into contact with skin, immediately
rinse the affected areas with plenty of clear water and consult a doctor
immediately.
Remove the batteries if the device will not be used for long periods.
Insulate the contacts of the batteries with an adhesive strip if you wish
to store or dispose of them.
