Beep
The base station will emit a sound every 60 seconds, if new messages
have been received, if the beep has been activated.
Open the 'Settings' sub-menu and the 'Alert tone' option there, in the

'Answer Machine' menu.
Select 'On' or 'Off' and confirm with MENU.


Remote enquiry

You can listen to the answerphone from any telephone with touch-tone
dialling. You will need a four-digit PIN for this.
The PIN will have been set to '0000' at the factory. This PIN is not
identical to the system PIN.
Switching on
Open the 'Remote Access' sub-menu and the 'Enable' option there, in

the 'Aswer Machine' menu.
You will now be able to make a remote enquiry from another telephone.
Changing the remote enquiry PIN
Open the 'Remote Access' sub-menu und the 'Set PIN' option there, in

the 'Answer Machine' menu.
Enter the old PIN with the number keys.

Press MENU and enter a new four-digit PIN.

Press MENU and enter this PIN again. The new PIN will be stored.

